My car is an old Ford LX, 100,000 Miles at the price of $1500,not quite cheap but runs great. I do shopping here almost all in internet, An unbelievable thing in China. Several days ago I bought a Head Tennis bat for only $40, rather cheaper than China.My next goal is a APS camera, about $140. Saying the Computer, cuz I lived in a US family, I shared their PC and there are Macs in the lab. I didn't need to buy it now. But I recommend fengfeng to buy a notebook on net. At about $1200 you can buy a new IBM C466,64M,10G. Though there is a freight fee,but there is no tax, so buying some expensive thing on net is really a great deal! |

呵呵，Zhang Rui已经工作了还是在上学？我看他的email是新国立的呢。他去米国什么地方开会？米国那么大，如果不是到North Carolina来的话，多半是没有机会见面的。而且，呵呵，本人至今也没有到机场接人的能力，sigh，没有车啊。 看来新加坡的生活真是不错啊。我现在开始后悔申请小城市里的学校了。这里还不如国内的县城热闹呢。真正是地广人稀，据说附近的公路上还经常有鹿被撞死的。不过你倒是可以常常贴一些到餐厅吃饭的经历啊，可以激发我做饭做菜的想象力的说，呵呵。 |

What a COOL guy! How could u manage to buy a car so quickly? Admire u so much. How much does it cost? These days I am trying to figure out how to buy a PC. PC components are rather cheap if you buy them on line. But the shipping fee and inconvient services are annoying. Local hardware stores ask for much more for the same thing and are also impossible to go without a car. I began to long for the days in Tsinghua, when I can get to Zhong Guan Cun in just 10 minites. Compaq or HP is cheap compared with their correspondents in China. One of my friend bought a HP of C633, 64M RAM, 15G hard drive, 15" monitor and a printer for a little more than $800. But those with 128M RAM and larger hard drive cost much more, say, more than $1,200. You can also bid in e-auctions such as eBAY. But the risk also increses considerablely. I have decided to buy a PC first. Then I must wait till next year to buy a car. Sigh, a mid-sized Japanese car of 1994 with a milage of 90,000 miles costs more than $3,000 here. The price system of US is in a total chaos. When I was searching for a monitor on line, I found that the lowest price for a Philips 107B is $196, while the highest price is $397!!!! You can save a lot if you know. And if you don't, you must spend tens of hours on line to search for a good deal. 55555555, rather boring. Sorry for the inconvience of this English message. But since Ye Yuan doesn't have Chinese systems, I cannot express my admiration to him in Chinese. Heihei... |

Sorry everyone. I have no Chinese system here, so you may have to try to understand my poor english. Here is rather better to me these days, Everyday is busy in class,papers,walking, surfing net and application. I share cooking with another Chinese student, so I only do less than 1/2 meals. When I come to USA, I became more thrifty, cuz I know if I save more. I can buy many car early and also notebook. That's my dream. So I seldom go to Mc' or KTC,instead I have tasted all kinds of pizza in the school carteen, It cost only $1.2 for a piece. I am fine here except for it's really a too small town. Btw, these days it seems quite complex here. what's your matter, ChenYi? You looks experienced a lot of feeling,right? BYe bye. |

这次考的人实在是太多了，南大考场共有1090个考生。 我的考场共有四个考官，难以置信的是竟然有两个是我本科时的英语老师。没有让她们帮帮我实在是浪费。 坐在右边的MM好像是中文系的，上学期一起上过气功课。 隔壁考场有一个人很面熟，好像是唐琳，如果没有记错名字的话。 一班黄新也去考试了。 至于考试本身也就不必细说了，反正听力有三个题目没听懂，650是没戏了。语法较难，有两个题目都不太对劲。预知详情欢迎联系。 |

上次留言因为该死的南极星的问题，全是乱码，被删了，真是不爽。 陈易老兄你说的倒轻松，可本人现在是那种一见到burger，sandwich和pizza就有点作呕的体质。而且，而且，到离我公寓最近的快餐店，走路要15分钟的。米国的公共交通系统真是名不虚传的差，还是Singapore好啊。 何云你说的也很轻松啊，“学习之余，不妨泡个洋妞”。可是和老美真的是没什么共同语言啊。文化背景太不同了，每次和他们聊天，等问完了“你是那个系的？”“你喜欢什么运动？”之后就没话可说了的说。 觉得在米国，生活品质真是下降了不少的说，好土啊。 |

汪汪说的不错，冯仿赶紧找个人替自己做饭吧:) 我没等到星期六，昨晚就去乌节路吃了还算正宗的北京涮羊肉，因为是自助餐，为了不浪费这20新币，我们一行4人吃了2个多小时，50多只大虾(有一个同学的同学曾经一人一次吃了100只)。 然后到丽都去看晚场电影hollow man，12：30和我的室友回家时，从觉得后面有个隐形人，苦哉:( 在外的各位，还是要努力加餐饭呀，失去这一大乐趣的人生一定不是很完满的，嘿嘿嘿嘿:) |
